I had this same thing happen to me this morning. I was at the grocery putting groceries into the back of my 2009 GMC Acadia, when all of a sudden I heard a sound and the back door fell down on my head. I am glad that I had put my babies in their c I have a 2004 GMC Yukon XL SLT with power adjusting front seats. The driver side up and down feature as stopped working. Dealership states the motor has locked up. Hard to believe seeing that it rarely is used. They want to replace the entire Yukon junk. There is a reason GM needed a bail out. I am tired of their junk they build. The past two GMs have failed me with what should have been recalls. Latest is the 2004. The heat seats have been going on and off for years.
