Gmc Suburban 1990 Parking Brake Conventional Mechanical Linkage And CableGmc Suburban 1990 Parking Brake Conventional Mechanical Linkage And Cable Review #758997 GMC SUBURBAN 1990 car safety problem was reported on Mar 03, 2002.GMC SUBURBAN 1990, manufactured by GENERAL MOTORS CORP. had a problem with PARKING BRAKE:CONVENTIONAL:MECHANICAL:LINKAGE AND CABLE . i believe the suburban series vehicles have a design defect in the brake system because the rear brake hose(from the body to a connector above the differential) is used as a support for the parking brake cable. the stronger, heavier parking brake cable rubs on the rubber brake hose, causing the rubber hose to fail. the parking brake cable does have a 2inch metal sleeve over it near where the hose and cable rub. however, this sleeve is not located where the natural lay of the hose/cable is. in fact, the sleeve has a rough edge on it, which causes additional wear on the rubber hose. the rubber brake hose is also bent where it connects to the truck body because the hose must support the weight of the parking brake cable. the rubber brake hose on my suburban was almost worn through when i noticed it. i believe the fix could be that the parking brake cable be routed below the rubber brake hose with a rubber doughnut between the hose/cable.o. *ak.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):1GKGV26K6LF. Gmc Suburban 1990 Reports
My GMC K1500 sometimes starts running rough. It may correct it's self or may continue running rough untill you turn it off for a while then start it up again. Sometimes it may go a month with no problem then the problem may come right back. 1998 GMC Sierra 4x4. 118,000 miles but rebuilt engine installed at 78,000 miles. Drive carefully, slow take offs, 65 to 70 mph on road, but gas mileage is 10 to 11.5 mpg. Changed air filter but no better. Tire pressure is fine. Any suggestions for 2004 GMC Envoy~~~ I have no rt or lft brake lights.(only the bar brake light at the top of the hatch.) I was told that the right one wasn't working. When I went under the seat to check the fuse I noticed that it was the only fuse that was loose, j What can i do to repair the problem i have with my wipers being intermittend thank you. I have a 2007 Yukon Denali XL and my climate control + button for the heat on the drivers side peeled off. Anyone out there having the same issue? It looks like the passengers side is doing the same.
