Saturn Sl 1993 TiresSaturn Sl 1993 Tires Review #728431 SATURN SL 1993 car safety problem was reported on Aug 14, 2000.SATURN SL 1993, manufactured by General Motors LLC had a problem with TIRES . due to the recent recall of some of firestone tires i wanted to alert you to the fact that my firestone tires which are not part of the recall also experienced the same circumstance. i was driving on an interstate at about 70 miles per hour when the right rear tires tread seperated from the tire and caused the tire to deflate. i was able to pull to the roadside before a blowout or further incident. the tire has about a 36 inch long and 3 inch wide section where the tread is missing. the tire overall is about 8 inches wide. i also have a ford explorer with wildnerness at tires that were not made at the decater plant and thus not involved in the recall. although my firehawk tires had approximately 60,000 miles on them at the time of the incident i still feel this is not normal and the tire was defective. i have had other tires that ran until the tread was bald and the tread never seperated from the rest of the tire. due to the fact that a firestone tire not indicated in the recall had the same circumstances happen to it, i don't feel the problem with these tires is limited to the larger suv tires. i feel this needs to be investigated to insure other firestone tires are safe for thepeople who have them on their vehicles. my confidence in firestone tires is lost and i will be replacing the wilderness tires even though they didn't come from that particular plant. i still have the firehawk tire that had the tread come off if you would like a picture of it i can arrange that. the tires were made in 1995. they were purchased in 07-95 in wyoming. of the 5 years on the car 2 years were in wyo. and 3 years were in florida. the driving on the tires if a good mixture of highway and city driving. if you need any more info please feel free to call me. thank you.( dot number: w2v9 tire size: p195/60r15 ).0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):1G82J5572PZ. My wife was raising her 2007 Aura seat up and heard a loud pop. The left rear seat attachment point weld snapped. My 2001 SC2 has issues with shifting into Reverse and Drive when it is cold out. Also, now it feels like its going to stall when I break. What could be causing this? Is the transmission going? Is there any way to fix this? The car has 166K miles, shifting lever broke cant shift any more going down the road the car passlock come on the car will stop & will not start . you have to erased codes then it will start. After 1994 saturn sl2 gets to cruising temp. it starts stalling out at stops. Its like it has a dead spot upon take off. yes one more 98 SL2 that has had this button pop out while parked .  Does GM need to hear that one of these cars accidently rolled down a street and killed a kid to realize this issue is unacceptable? They need to make these by the thousands 2004 Saturn Vue AWD when vehicle is cold and I press on gas pedal it won't go over 10 mph for the first couple times I stop after that it runs fine. key will not turn in ignition At 85,000 miles my engine is knocking loud and ready to die and I just put in a new alternator for 2004 Saturn Vue. staurn sl2 automatic sutck in 3rd gear, when this happens, the radio dont work, the electric door locks dont work, and the rear defrost dont work, changed battery but no change When braking my Saturn 2003 Vue there is a thum-thump-thump sound that seems to be coming from the rear. I have had this checked out at the same GMC dealership three different times. The springs on the rear brakes were weak and replaced. The rear All the lamps in the cluster are flickering on and off And the turn signal lamps stay on when you put the key in and turn to first position. what could be the problem does anyone know ?Â
