Infiniti G35 2007 Structure BodyInfiniti G35 2007 Structure Body Review #10536446 INFINITI G35 2007 car safety problem was reported on Aug 15, 2013.INFINITI G35 2007, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with STRUCTURE:BODY . when taking my 2007 infiniti g35 coupe in for service, both the tech and myself noticed a bad pop when opening the hood of the car. the tech stated that he has seen this many times with other infiniti cars especially those that are the same model. he explained to me what was causing this issue. the hinges are corroding where they attach to the body of the car. because of this, when the hood is opened, the torque from opening the hood is causing the hinges to bend. in addition to the hinges corroding and bending, when the hood is being opened, it is causing the entire hood to sink lower than it should which results in it damaging the fenders. the hood rubs against the fenders causing them to bend and chip. after listening to the tech, i did some research online and found that there are many people who have had this happen to them. there are a lot of forums and online articles that discuss this issue. i called infiniti to discuss this issue with them and they said that there is no recall for this issue. even the tech said that this should be a recall item because hinges, especially those connecting the hood to the car, should never do this. i am writing in hopes of getting some sort of action taken to get this issue addressed by infiniti and having them make it a recall item. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 85000 miles. Infiniti G35 2007 Power TrainInfiniti G35 2007 Power Train Review #10661078 INFINITI G35 2007 car safety problem was reported on June 10, 2014.INFINITI G35 2007, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with POWER TRAIN . two different incidents - i was in two minor low speed incidents. i believe at the time of the second the brake rod got bent (which is currently speculation and the insurance is investigating) from the first accident. after the first my accelerator would not function on some left hand turns. i got in the second accident because of the inability to "brake harder" and i was amazed i couldn't stop in the distance provided, and this braking scenario and outcome is repeatable. if i brake hard -- harder -- full stop. by the time i do a full stop my braking power is diminished and in my accident i was unable to stop in a "normal" distance. furthermore, after this second accident at < 20 mph. i have intermittent accelerator failure in all driving scenarios. i could be driving and it just cuts out. no error lights in either of these scenarios. no check engine, no slip, no abs, warnings. i previously tried to bring it up to corporate nissan and they said i had to contact the local dealership. both dealerships i tried pawned me off to parts department, which the guy was confused as to why i am asking him about potential short falls. they wanted over $1,000 each issue to investigate. meanwhile as i now find my car unsafe to drive for lack of accelerating and braking abilities, and the insurance company is investigating. two accidents in 6 months, and at least the latter i think could be due to a potential faulty part - as every mechanic i have reached out to said if it is the brake rod, and in the accidents i had, it should not have bent (if that ends up being the root cause). let alone the accelerator issues..Vehicle was involved in a crash. 0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 97000 miles. My 2004 INFINITI Q45 gear stays in 3rd speed from start. It will drive slow and can't pull fast. Is it an interlock problem ? It is probably worn bushings on the control arms.  You can try spaying a silicon spray on them, or just have them replaced gas gauge reads empty when its full.How can I fix? I too have a 2010 g37 convertible and has been in the body shop twice to repair symetrical dents on the middle panel i have a 1998 infiniti i30 and it is hard to start sometimes but when i drive it down the road sometimes it will just die i put it in neture and crank it it cranks just fine little while later it dies again but it always cranks right back up what Infiniti fx35 2003 My car has been losing heat off and on for a couple months now. About two weeks ago it started to overheat while I was driving home. When I pulled over there was coolant pouring out of the bottom of my car. A hose had blow My infiniti 2002 i35 had the same problem once. It stalled for about 7 minutes as i was driving on a small street. The mechanic told me to replace the air filter which was about $13. I haven't had a problem since. MY 94 INFINITI G20 MANUAL TRANSMISSION IS GRINDING AND IS HARD TO SHIFT ON 1ST GEAR I JUST REPLACE THE CLUTCH I DONT HAVE ANY IDEA WHATS WRONG WITH IT I NEED HELP ...as car is coasting into parking space or gas station, engine suddenly accelerates to red zone requiring immediate braking and shutting off of ignition or car would go completely out of control. After restart OK. Has happened a number of times.? my car is shaking replace the electrical part of the ignition switch,it unscrews/seperates from the key part of the switch. mine did the same thing, i bought the part  at the dealer for about $34.00,  the contacts within the electrical part of  switch become bur at random times my car just wont start. after sitting it starts back up. not today . while driving down the road , it started shaking and smoking and when i gave it some gas it didnt do anything. ended up getting a tow now its in my drive way and
