Infiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Engine And Engine Cooling Review #10247737 INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003 car safety problem was reported on Nov 04, 2003.INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING . 1) car has been meticulously cared for. at 44,450 miles, the engine dies unexpectedly while going at 25mph. engine cranks roughly for a long time at start, but starts eventually. i get the "check engine light", "vdc off" and "slip" light on. 2) the error was associated to "camshaft position sensor". since the start of this condition, engine dies atleast once every drive - mostly at low rpm, but twice at 25 and 40 mph resulting in near collisions! i called infiniti and they mentioned that my particular vin has no recalls associated with it for this condition - but i clearly see a 630,000 car recall for this condition under engine & engine cooling with nhtsa id# 03v455000. 3) the dealership is willing to repair for $105/hr for something that is clearly a vehicle defect. they will change the camshaft position sensor. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 44475 miles. Infiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Engine And Engine Cooling Cooling SystemInfiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Engine And Engine Cooling Cooling System Review #10279348 INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003 car safety problem was reported on July 28, 2009.INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM . owned a 2003 infiniti i35. it began to stall while running, at interstate speeds, street speeds, at stop lights. mechanic thought it was the battery but problems continued. we sold vehicle due to issues and needing reliable vehicle. two months after selling it, our other 2003 infiniti, a g35 coupe, began having the same issues. took to infiniti dealer and they stated the error was p0340 and cam shaft sensor needed to be replaced, $600. i did research and found there was a recall but was told by dealer my vin did not fit within recall numbers. in a short amount of research on web, i found probably 10-15 other owners of g35 coupes that have this issue and infiniti is saying, sorry, but your vin is not included in recall. i called infiiniti, they stated that exactly and there was no remedy other than paying for repair ourselves. it is a scary, dangerous defect that obviously was not corrected, or another issues arose, with the recall. a g35 coupe is a small, low-riding car, and i have a child in the back. if you are going at interstate speed with a semi on your tail and your car stalls, your child in the back, and possibly yourself, would not survive this crash. infiniti said, yes, they did have similar complaints, but still would not remedy. i asked if a person has to die before they admit there is a defect that needs to be fixed. unfortunately we no longer have the i35 to prove that had the same issue. we are getting the g35 repaired before someone gets killed but i am furious that this is not a covered repair by infiniti. i will try to retain the part to the g35. *tr.Mileage was 94000 miles. Infiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Electrical System Review #10424096 INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003 car safety problem was reported on Sept 16, 2009.INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . shortly after purchasing my infiniti, i noticed that the fuel gauge was not registering the level correctly. when the gauge reaches approximately one-quarter tank full, the gauge drops to well below the e mark and the warning light comes on. even after purchasing approximately twenty dollars worth of gas the gauge still registers below the e mark and the light stays on. last week on september 1, 2011, i went to purchase gas because the light was on. i know my tank holds twenty gallons when empty, so i thought it would take approximately seventy dollars to fill up, but to my surprise the pump stopped at fifty-three dollars, which was about thirteen gallons. the gauge on the dash did not even register to the f mark, it stopped on three-quarters full, even though i tried a couple of times to fill the tank even more. i replaced the fuel tank level sender in august of 2011 with a new part, but this has not helped. this is a safety issue, as i do not know the correct fuel level in the vehicle, which could lead to my stalling out on a roadway and am not able to pull to the side of the road. i am aware of other infiniti models going through recalls because of fuel gauge problems which sound identical to what i am experiencing, so maybe this should be investigated further. i also have researched this problem on the internet and quite a few blogs detail the exact experience i am having. *tr.Mileage was 65000 miles. Infiniti G35 Coupe 2003 VisibilityInfiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Visibility Review #10437419 INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003 car safety problem was reported on Aug 01, 2011.INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with VISIBILITY . the defroster, ac/heating system, radio, and selected lights on the dashboard fail randomly, causing the windows to fog in certain weather conditions, making it quite hazardous to drive. the system will automatically turn on, then the fan cycles to higher speeds about every 20 seconds. the heating/air system will become completely uncontrollable, rendering all defrost controls inoperable. during this time, the radio display turns itself off, and all controls on the face of the unit are disabled. the stereo can still be controlled by the steering wheel controls. all button lights remain off, while the center display, located just below the windshield, remains on. there has been a recall for the sedan version of this year/model vehicle for the same issue. the following is the service campaign number for the sedan recall: itb03-007. *tr.Mileage was 70000 miles. Infiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Engine And Engine CoolingInfiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Engine And Engine Cooling Review #10451758 INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003 car safety problem was reported on Mar 14, 2012.INFINITI G35 COUPE 2003, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING . i own a 6-speed manual transmission and the car is consuming a tremendous amount of engine oil. i am pouring two quarts of oil in it every 3 - 4 days. at this point, the oil is leaking into the combustion chamber producing white fumes out the tailpipe. i reached out to infiniti?s consumer affairs department with the issue and they advised me to take the car in to an authorized infiniti service center for evaluation. i then took the car to an infiniti service center and told the service rep my car complaint. his immediate response was that the manual transmissions do consume a lot of oil. after the car's evaluation, the service rep told me that the entire engine block would need to be replaced because of damaged or worn piston rings. i asked the service rep what could cause a sophisticated, expensive machine to require a motor replacement after only 126k miles. the service rep replied that it could be due to infrequent oil changes and/or driving the car for long periods without oil both of which do not apply to me. i then reached out to the infiniti consumer affairs department for some resolution to what i would consider a travesty and was told that there was absolutely nothing that they could do to assist me in this matter citing two reasons - (1) not being a loyal customer of infiniti because my last service visit was in 2009 and (2) the vehicle is way outside the manufacturer's warranty. i then did some research online to see if i was the only person with this car that was experiencing the same problem. i found numerous postings, most of which claim that nissan is fully aware of the issue, but they are taking no responsibility for the issue. *tr.Mileage was 126280 miles. Infiniti G35 Coupe 2003 Reports
My 2004 INFINITI Q45 gear stays in 3rd speed from start. It will drive slow and can't pull fast. Is it an interlock problem ? It is probably worn bushings on the control arms. You can try spaying a silicon spray on them, or just have them replaced gas gauge reads empty when its full.How can I fix? I too have a 2010 g37 convertible and has been in the body shop twice to repair symetrical dents on the middle panel i have a 1998 infiniti i30 and it is hard to start sometimes but when i drive it down the road sometimes it will just die i put it in neture and crank it it cranks just fine little while later it dies again but it always cranks right back up what Infiniti fx35 2003 My car has been losing heat off and on for a couple months now. Has happened a number of times.? my car is shaking replace the electrical part of the ignition switch,it unscrews/seperates from the key part of the switch. mine did the same thing, i bought the part at the dealer for about $34.00, the contacts within the electrical part of switch become bur at random times my car just wont start. after sitting it starts back up. not today . while driving down the road , it started shaking and smoking and when i gave it some gas it didnt do anything. ended up getting a tow now its in my drive way and
