Infiniti Fx35 2004 Latches/locks/linkagesInfiniti Fx35 2004 Latches/locks/linkages Review #10322707 INFINITI FX35 2004 car safety problem was reported on Mar 21, 2010.INFINITI FX35 2004, manufactured by NISSAN NORTH AMERICA, INC. had a problem with LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES . this is for a defect: i own a 2004 infiniti fx35 and my wife and i are about to have our first child, so we purchased a child safety seat that includes latch connectors (since the infiniti lists as having them, and since by law all vehicles were to include them since 2002). went to install the child seat and could not get to, or reach, the latch connectors. started examining around the seats to figure out what was wrong and quickly discovered that the latch connectors are installed incorrectly on my infiniti, they seem to be installed up-side-down making them a good two inches below the seat level (when they should be flush with the seat to properly align and secure the child seat). when the back seats are laid flat you are able to access the rear and underside of the seats, there you can see where the latch connectors are bolted to the frame of the car, and this is where you can see that they are upside down making them impossible to reach through the seat. i've also checked out a kia, honda and a ford, and in all those cases simply reaching between the lower-seat and the seat-back you can very easily find the latch connector and it is indeed flush with the seat, the infiniti's is a good 2 inches below that height. i went to the dealership and the service department didn't even know what the latch system was (at least that is what they said). not sure if it is all fx35's or even all infiniti's, but if you do manage to attach the child safety seat to the latch connectors, it will not be in the proper alignment and could very easily fail risking the child. *cn.Infiniti Fx35 2004 problem was reported in COLUMBUS, OH. Infiniti Fx35 2004 Electrical SystemInfiniti Fx35 2004 Electrical System Review #10542957 INFINITI FX35 2004 car safety problem was reported on Oct 01, 2012.INFINITI FX35 2004, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . i do see multiple other owners with the same issues. please find my issues here.......issue 1: the gas gauge improperly represents the fuel level in the tank and the following issues are constantly present: 1) a full tank is never shown via the gauge 2) the gas gauge sporadically jumps around regardless of the amount of gas in the tank 3) the "empty" light comes on when there is as much as 1/2 tank of gas. this is very dangerous for me as this is my family car and i have a 2 year old son in my vehicle a lot and what if my car would stall out on the highway?? it is a good thing that i am able to keep calculations on the amount of miles per gallon my car usually gets. i was going 30 mph and turned from a light and didn't realize my gas was as low as it was and my car stalled out, luckily i was able to get over to the side of the road. issue:2 the locks fail to react to the lock unlock function and the beep sound doesn't go off. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 130410 miles. My 2004 INFINITI Q45 gear stays in 3rd speed from start. It will drive slow and can't pull fast. Is it an interlock problem ? It is probably worn bushings on the control arms. You can try spaying a silicon spray on them, or just have them replaced gas gauge reads empty when its full.How can I fix? I too have a 2010 g37 convertible and has been in the body shop twice to repair symetrical dents on the middle panel i have a 1998 infiniti i30 and it is hard to start sometimes but when i drive it down the road sometimes it will just die i put it in neture and crank it it cranks just fine little while later it dies again but it always cranks right back up what Infiniti fx35 2003 My car has been losing heat off and on for a couple months now.
