Ford Bronco Ii 1984 Engine And Engine Cooling Engine Gasoline Review #751424 FORD BRONCO II 1984 car safety problem was reported on June 01, 1994.FORD BRONCO II 1984, manufactured by FORD MOTOR COMPANY had a problem with ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE . this truck has had a constant stalling problem. it runs fine on the open road but when it i stop for a light or stop sign or make a turn & reapply the accelerator it stumbles, hesitates & stalls. if i am quick enough to back off the accellator & reapply it i can keep it from stalling. if not it will stall. it usually starts right up again but this situation has become dangerous. it has been to ford numerous times for this problem. ford told me that no codes show up. they told me the only thing was a slight flat spot in the carb. & advised me to have it rebuilt at a carb. place. i did that & the problem continues.the truck has had a value job, a tuneup with new wires but the problem continues. it also seems to run better if the vacuum hoses on the passenger engine side wall are disconnected. there is a unit that has 3 vacuume hoses on it that connect there. the truck starts right up in cold or warm weather & idles & runs ok. this problem seems to act up more when the weather is damp or raining but now it seems to do it at will & only from a start or when reapply the accelerator when making a turn. overall this truck is in very good condition as far as the exterior & interior are concerned. i would like to find the problem because i want to keep this truck for transportation. it is currently off the road because of this problem. i have talked with many machanics & no one seems to know what is causing it. i know that ford was just ordered to recall vechicles with stalling problems linked to a distriburtor part that over heats & stalls the engine. any information that you can supply me with as far as finding the problem would be greatly appreciated..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):1FMCU14S9EU. my 95 ford exploere engine surges when turn my air conditioner on Ihave a 1994 ford probe which has started to idle very low and stalls at times. It is a 4 cyl. w/ air and a 5 speed. any ideas? I replaced the fuel filter, air flow meter and added HEAT to gas tank to dry and clean fuel system. I think my pcv valv should a standard transmission truck start when it is in gear without the clucth engaged? should a 2005 standard transmission ford ranger start when in gear without the clutch engaged? 96 Ford F250 Emergency brake lever gets caught on the auto adjustment spring, causing brakes to be permanently engaged, also allowing the parking break lever to rub against the hub, which can cut through over time. try pushing the pedals button closer to you. you must have the pedal adjustment button to the left of the radio, looks like a foot, that brings the pedals more inward towards the driver. hope it helped. or look carefully if a wire has corroded. it i would check ur multi switch on ur stearing colum on the pedal whats the sound Just bought an '06 E-350 van. Left d'ship got on highway and noticed shimmy when I got to 60....same problem???? that happened to me last night! If you rock the car back and for while shifting then it should release the safety lock! why does it take turning off the veh. while pulling in on the shifter arm, them starting it again while still holding it inwards ever so slightly??
