Dodge Ram 3500 2007 Electrical SystemDodge Ram 3500 2007 Electrical System Review #10479615 DODGE RAM 3500 2007 car safety problem was reported on Sept 24, 2012.DODGE RAM 3500 2007, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . my 2007 dodge ram 3500 suddenly lost all electrical and engine power when slowing for a red light on us27 4lane at somerset, ky. i was towing a equipment trailer and was able to steer around traffic and get stopped on shoulder. i notice smoke and smell of burnt plastic from under hood as soon as i got stopped. i was able to jerk the battery cable off with pliers and put fire out at fuse box next to battery. i had truck towed to somerset dodge dealer who replaced the tipm module (under hood fuse block) . when i picked up truck next the next day i asked why did it burn with no fuses blown? i was told they found nothing else wrong with truck, i may need to check my trailer. this would not explain the fuse not blown. i purchased truck new in 2007 and use it towing cattle or farm equipment with never a fuse blown in truck in 49,000 miles or 5 years. this is a problem that dealer service advisor could not explain and there was no recall related to fuse block. i checked both my trailers and found no problems, which if there had been that's what fuses are for. i feel my dealer has done all they can but i am not satisfied with the failure of this fuse block. the incident on sept. 24, 2012 would have had a different end had i been in left lane behind traffic at 55mph and towing five ton with limited braking on truck and none on trailer due to them being electric, also had it been night and the loss of headlights could have made steering around traffic impossible. the fact that this has been reported by other drivers/owners to this somerset dealership makes me think there is a need for dodge to address this problem. *tr.Vehicle was on fire. 0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 49000 miles. Dodge Ram 3500 2007 Steering Review #10578242 DODGE RAM 3500 2007 car safety problem was reported on Jan 06, 2014.DODGE RAM 3500 2007, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with STEERING . we received a recall notice for the truck in the beginning of january 2014 concerning the left tie rod and the potential fracture of the left ball stud on the tie rod. we called our dealer, [xxx], right away and were told to call back the following month as they were too busy with other recall repairs and would not make an appointment for us. we called back the first of feb and made an appointment to have the truck repaired on feb 14. when i drove to the dealer they just looked at it and said it did need repaired and said they would put me on the list. i said that we were told it would be fixed. they said they had to order the part and it would be a couple of weeks. after 3 weeks we called them and they finally told us that the parts that chrysler ordered did not fit and that they would be ordering new parts. the following month we called the chrysler hotline and could get no answers. we asked it we should not drive the truck. the woman said "i did not say that" and that was pretty much all she would say. she did say that we could have it fixed on our own and send the bill to chrysler and that they were slow to pay, 60 to 90 days. we called the dealer again and they said they could not fix it and we could take it to our own mechanic. they advised not driving the truck. no more notices have been received. we paid $40k for this truck used and we haul horses with it. we need it. we took it to our mechanic. he said the complete design of the steering linkage was "mickey mouse" and he could not believe they used a steel tube in lieu of rod steel for the main steering rod. he said he ordered some replacement parts for the left side but they would not fit into the remaining pieces. he said it looks like the entire thing needs to be replaced. he said he is not sure how to proceed with it. we are desperate and need the use of this truck. please help. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):3D7MX48C07G. I have a 2008 Dodge Nitro thats rear driver side light does not work. I have taken it to a mechanic that can't find out why it won't work and have spent 200.00 He thinks it might be in the wiring system . I have also seen other Dodge Nitro same ye Every time it rains heavily the passenger floor gets soaking wet. My car has never been in an accident or any body damage. It is a 2007 Nitro 4X4. Wasn't there a recall years ago for fixing the roof rack assembly? Has anyone else ever had this iss stereo is all static but the cd player works fine...antennae perhaps? I have the same problem. Dodge can't find the problem so they told me to take it. Next week I'm turning it in and go through the lemom law. Very frustrating when you buy the warrrant and they can't fix it. Garrrrrrrrr. Ihave a 95 Dodge Avenger and the 30 Amp starter/ignition fuse keeps blowing. As soon as you turn the key the instrument panel lights are dim and then the fuse blows. I have replaced the starter, cables, ignition switch, fusible link and battery an 2004 Dodge 2500 Ram Truck, Laramie trim package...horn goes off with no one around it - truck is off and parked in the driveway, keys were not touched. power windows won't work pushing window buttons causes the water in fuel lite to come on along with the brake indicator lite and wait to start lite also turning on the a/c heater causes the same thing soon as you release the switches lites go out 2001 Dodge 5.9 cummins going down the road it sputtered 3 times & shut off and will not restart I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan from Bankston Dodge of Grand Prairie, Texas in May of 2008. Less than 8 months after that (around 12,000 miles) my front brakes went completely out with no indication whatsoever of any problems (The device tha 1995 DODGE NEON 1.6l Feels like it is slipping while driving. with brake pedal depressed car surges, Probably not the door seals. You may have to unstop the two drains that can get filled with debris. The two drains are located in the trough under the grill work that is under the wiper blades. You will need to remove the wiper arms, then remove a '06 dakota - unable to put fuel in gas tank
