Saturn Sc 1997 Engine And Engine Cooling Exhaust System Emission Control Catalytic ConvertorSATURN SC 1997 car safety problem was reported on Oct 15, 2004.SATURN SC 1997, manufactured by General Motors LLC had a problem with ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:CATALYTIC CONVERTOR . while driving on the freeway at approximately 55 mph all of a sudden smoke came from under the hood. vehicle became squarely. there was a crack in the cylinder head, spilling oil all over the exhaust system, which caused smoke and got oil all over the tires. it blew out 4 quarts of oil very rapidly, causing the front of the vehicle to swirl all over the road. the entire vehicle was filled with oil smoke, making visibility very dangerous. there was a vertical crack on the right side of the cylinder head that went all the way back to the middle of the cylinder head which had nothing to do with the cooling system. it only effected the oil. this defect was next to the air conditioning compressor. the casting did not look like very good quality. it was not reinforced as it should be. *ak.Mileage was 80000 miles. My wife was raising her 2007 Aura seat up and heard a loud pop. The left rear seat attachment point weld snapped. My 2001 SC2 has issues with shifting into Reverse and Drive when it is cold out. Also, now it feels like its going to stall when I break. What could be causing this? Is the transmission going? Is there any way to fix this? The car has 166K miles, shifting lever broke cant shift any more going down the road the car passlock come on the car will stop & will not start . you have to erased codes then it will start. After 1994 saturn sl2 gets to cruising temp. it starts stalling out at stops. Its like it has a dead spot upon take off. yes one more 98 SL2 that has had this button pop out while parked . Does GM need to hear that one of these cars accidently rolled down a street and killed a kid to realize this issue is unacceptable? They need to make these by the thousands 2004 Saturn Vue AWD when vehicle is cold and I press on gas pedal it won't go over 10 mph for the first couple times I stop after that it runs fine. key will not turn in ignition At 85,000 miles my engine is knocking loud and ready to die and I just put in a new alternator for 2004 Saturn Vue. staurn sl2 automatic sutck in 3rd gear, when this happens, the radio dont work, the electric door locks dont work, and the rear defrost dont work, changed battery but no change When braking my Saturn 2003 Vue there is a thum-thump-thump sound that seems to be coming from the rear. I have had this checked out at the same GMC dealership three different times. The springs on the rear brakes were weak and replaced. The rear All the lamps in the cluster are flickering on and off And the turn signal lamps stay on when you put the key in and turn to first position. what could be the problem does anyone know ?
