I HAVE LEXUS LX470 2001 WHICH SUDDENLY STOPPED ACCELERATING AFTER I MADE A STOP AT A CORNER WHICH HAD A STEEP UPHILL TO CLIMB AND IT WOULD NOT GO FORWARD BUT STARTED TO ROLL BACK WHEN I ACCELERATED THE VEHICLE. I HEAR THE SOUND OF THE ENGINE BUT IT WOULD NOT GO FORWARD. I TOOK IT TO LEXUS BUT THEY SAID EVERYTHING IS FINE. IT HAPPENED AGAIN TWO TO THREE TIMES AND FINALLY LEXUS SAID THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE IS MALFUNCTIONING AND CHANGED IT FOR AROUND APPROXIMATELY $2000. SO PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER COMPLAINTS OF SIMILAR NATURE TO MAKE THESE VEHICLES SAFER TO DRIVE. THANKS. I AM GIVING APPROXIMATE DATES. *TR.Mileage was 95000 miles. I HAVE A 2001 LEXUS LX 470 ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS THE VSC HAS ACTIVATED AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED CAUSING LOSS OF CONTROL AND ALMOST AN ACCIDENT. EVERY TIME IT WAS ON DRY ROADS WITH NICE WEATHER. THE VSC LIGHT WOULD COME ON FOR A BRIEF SECOND AND THE VSC OFF LIGHT AND CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LIGHT WOULD STAY ON UNTIL THE VEHICLE WAS PUT IN REVERSE AND A LOUD POP THEN THE LIGHTS WOULD GO OFF. windshield casing on drivers side has pulled away from frame causing air noises. Do alot of 2010's have this issue? I have a steering column that squeaks when I turn my '01 Lexus RX-300. All of this stuff is starting to make. My husband was driving a 2001 lexus gs 1999 Lexus RX300.....Passenger seat belt light keep blinking when somebody seat on the front.Thank you for your help. 93 gs300, out of the blue,, car died, towed home, started ran fine, 5 min. later dies. got to run again, 7 min dies. noticed with key on all the injectors are clicking irratically, then while trouble shooting,, everything, comes to a stop, when recently, on my 1992 SC400, a loud beep apparantly coming from the right door speaker comes immediately after starting the car. Dealership said not to worry, many owner are complaining about the same thing. When there are enough complaints Lexus will do more research to resolve the pro I have a 2009 Lexus es350 and when i break at 60 mph it has a shimming upon breaking on the driver side. What can be the problem? I have rotated the tires and check the break pads and examine the rotor and with the cannot see any visual issuse.
