Honda Passport 1996 Wheels Lugs/nuts/boltsHonda Passport 1996 Wheels Lugs/nuts/bolts Review #707984 HONDA PASSPORT 1996 car safety problem was reported on Nov 04, 1996.HONDA PASSPORT 1996, manufactured by HONDA (AMERICAN HONDA MOTOR CO.) had a problem with WHEELS:LUGS/NUTS/BOLTS . lugs: nuts: bolts have stripped during normal operation eleven times since the purchase of the vehicle. if i have a flat, i would not be able to change the tire as the lug could not be removed. the dealer in lake charles advises it is a definite safety hazard, describing the lugs as "cheap." however, honda does not have replacement lugs. further, i do not know when the lugs strip or how many strip on a wheel. as many as three have been replaced at one time. while unlikely, it seems possible that several lugs could strip on one wheel, weakening the wheel connection to the hub. honda refuses to pay for the cost to replace the lugs now that the vehicle is out of warranty. this suv is mainly used by my wife to run errands. it is a two wheel drive vehicle that is not taken off road. i believe this to be a safety hazard and am concerned taking the vehicle on road trips with my family inside. please respond to my complaint. thank you. hall jones, lake charles, louisiana. *ak.Vehicle Identification Number (VIN):4S6CK58V0T4. My 94 GL 1500 sends off a vibration when you let off the gas...traveling at 80-90 +mph or so it will rumble until you slow to about 60 mph ....a little scary, it makes me think its going to lock up...I had a previous 94 gl that did the same thing my 2003 Honda Accord started with replacing power steering pump then power steering hose{recall} now I have a leaking power steering rack seems all connected to me should be a recall for the rack also? Is it possbile for wheel cyclinder to be leaking after only 20,000 miles on a 2003 Civic Honda? 2005 Honda CRV - Front struts noisy over small bumps in road Since new problems have included pull to the right, grinding noise from rear diff, crack in windhshield all across the bottom of the glass from side to side no chipping just a long horizontal crack just above the dash line. Front struts make a hug the check engine light is staying on on my cbr1000rr 06. do you have to adjust the valves and fuel when you remove baffles from a 1995 honda 750 magna????
