Ford E-150 2003 Power Train DrivelineFord E-150 2003 Power Train Driveline Review #10238837 FORD E-150 2003 car safety problem was reported on Aug 18, 2008.FORD E-150 2003, manufactured by FORD MOTOR COMPANY had a problem with POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE . i own a 2003 ford f150 super crew four wheel drive pick up. when engaging the four wheel drive system most of the time the front wheels will not engage. the transfer case engages every time, but i would estimate the front wheels engage about twenty percent of the time. the system is very unpredictable and you can not count on it working when you need it. it has not caused an accident for me yet, but i have been stuck several times because of the poorly designed system. *tr.Ford E-150 2003 problem was reported in HOPKINSVILLE, KY. Ford E-150 2003 Electrical SystemFord E-150 2003 Electrical System Review #10390447 FORD E-150 2003 car safety problem was reported on Mar 13, 2011.FORD E-150 2003, manufactured by FORD MOTOR COMPANY had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . while traveling on the highway, my 2003 e150 ford van blew the #2 spark plug out. there was a popping sound and then the engine sounded as if it blew a rod. after checking it out, it was discovered that it was the spark plug. a few days prior to his event, i could hear a slight tapping sound coming from the engine. i had the oil changed just to be sure. the spark plug has been replaced, with a helicoil inserted, but the wall of the head was even damaged. my mechanic did an awesome job repairing it but even said he couldn't guarantee it would last a 100 miles or 100,000 due to the head damage. he even recommended i trade it in. with only 138,000 miles on it i'm not ready to let it go. hopefully the new plug will hold and i won't have to trade in my van. *tr.Mileage was 138628 miles. my 95 ford exploere engine surges when turn my air conditioner on Ihave a 1994 ford probe which has started to idle very low and stalls at times. It is a 4 cyl. w/ air and a 5 speed. any ideas? I replaced the fuel filter, air flow meter and added HEAT to gas tank to dry and clean fuel system. I think my pcv valv should a standard transmission truck start when it is in gear without the clucth engaged? should a 2005 standard transmission ford ranger start when in gear without the clutch engaged? 96 Ford F250 Emergency brake lever gets caught on the auto adjustment spring, causing brakes to be permanently engaged, also allowing the parking break lever to rub against the hub, which can cut through over time. try pushing the pedals button closer to you. you must have the pedal adjustment button to the left of the radio, looks like a foot, that brings the pedals more inward towards the driver. hope it helped. or look carefully if a wire has corroded. it i would check ur multi switch on ur stearing colum on the pedal whats the sound Just bought an '06 E-350 van. Left d'ship got on highway and noticed shimmy when I got to 60....same problem???? that happened to me last night! If you rock the car back and for while shifting then it should release the safety lock! why does it take turning off the veh. while pulling in on the shifter arm, them starting it again while still holding it inwards ever so slightly??
