Nissan Sentra 2013 Engine And Engine CoolingNissan Sentra 2013 Engine And Engine Cooling Review #10511120 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on Apr 06, 2013.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING . i was traveling on the interstate on 4/6 headed to sc at 5 am when the car started to decelerate by itself. with the gas pedal to the floor the car would not go past 45. then suddenly it will take off. the car does this at random and it cannot be detected on the computer according to nissan. friday night the car did the same thing. this time was worst and i was in traffic with people behind me. as i started to pull off from the light the car would not go past 25. i immediately put the flashers on prayed that i did not get hit from behind. i am afraid to drive the car and i am currently paying for a rental because nissan lithia springs refused to give me a rental or loaner. i am very distressed about this car. nissan lithia springs said they would trade me out the car but wanted to treat it as a trade. why would i pay for two cars when my sentra is obviously a lemon. i am otally frustrated i have a brand new car that i cannot drive and know one seems to care. the car was purchased on 3/18. went to service 4/8 picked up 4/9 they said that it was a idle program. returned to service 4/11 and was picked up 4/24. i took the car back on 4/26 and it is still there. i have tried contacting nissan consumer affairs and they don't return phone calls or emails..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 1500 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 WheelsNissan Sentra 2013 Wheels Review #10514717 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on June 02, 2013.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with WHEELS . while applying the brake pedal decelerating the car, the car suddenly had a very loud grinding noise on the rear passenger wheel, like the brake rotor grinding against some metal parts that broke loose inside. after stopping the car inspecting passenger rear wheel and found nothing, i got back to the car slowly accelerating it. the loud grinding noise got worse and i felt the brake pedal kinda light (like not all 4 brakes are being applied). i suspect the brake shoes or components broke apart inside the brake drum of the rear wheel (passenger side). fortunately, i was at slow speed (20-30mph) and only one block away from home. will have it towed to the local nissan dealer to have it checked out as i only had this car for about 7-8 month from brand new. since this is an all-new design 2013 sentra, i am concern this is a flaw on the brake design that could cause extreme dangerous hazards on the road. though my car should be covered under manufacturer 36-month bumper to bumper warranty, i am strongly asking to have the rear brake system on the 2013 nissan sentra investigated and recalled / corrected if necessary. this would help not only protect my family, my investment, but also others from running into the same incident operating this particular model in the future. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 9289 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 Service Brakes Review #10514831 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on May 29, 2013.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with SERVICE BRAKES . my 2013 nissan sentra with 142 miles already has problem with the service brakes. i was completely stopped at a traffic light. while waiting for the light to change i noticed that my car started to move forward. my first reaction was to press a little bit harder on the brake pedal, the car stopped, but a few seconds later the car started to move again. i kept pressing on the brake pedal a little bit harder every time it started to move, until the pedal reached the maximum travel, all the way to the bottom. even with the brake pedal pressed all the way to the bottom, the car kept on moving forward. at that moment i was inching away into the incoming traffic, so i had to pull the parking brake to stop the car from moving forward. this incident was very scary to say the least. now my car is at the dealer in the service department waiting for a new master cylinder. what i cannot understand is how such an important / critical system of a brand new car could fail in 4 days, and less than 150 miles. anyone else experienced anything like this? *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 142 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 Service BrakesNissan Sentra 2013 Service Brakes Review #10519885 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on June 02, 2013.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with SERVICE BRAKES . this is a follow up on the safety complaint i previously filed on 6/2/2013, when my sentra 2013 suddenly had big grinding noise on the passenger rear wheel when i applied the brake pedal decelerating the car. after having the car towed to the local dealer, the dealer diagnostic and confirmed the rear brake broke apart inside the rear brake drum damaged brake shoe, brake self-adjusted assembly, anti-shoe rattle clip and pin. though nissan covered the repair, replacement parts, and towing cost, it still cost me one day off work and the car had to sit at the dealer couple days waiting for the replacement parts. i then looked up the internet and found the sentra 2013 rear brake part diagram (see link below). what really scare me is the new 'u' shape anti-shoe rattle springs / clips (instead of the traditional circle / washer shape ones typically found on most vehicles) that are used to lock the brake shoes in place with the anti-shoe rattle pins. these u-shape anti-rattle shoe springs might come off if the car running on bad roads often or big bumps over the time. i am really concerned about the safety on sentra 2013 rear brake and hoping someone could investigate to prevent future safety issues. ----- http://www.enissanparts.com/nissanparts/index.cfm?bodycolor=&trimcolor=&body=4s&engine=mra8de&area=cal&grade=s&trans=cvt&action=replacement&groupid=h§ionid=441&partcode=&jointvehid=17659&makeid=25&siteid=216803&illust_seq=01&partnumber=part+number&description=keyword. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 9289 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 Visibility/wiperNissan Sentra 2013 Visibility/wiper Review #10555162 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on Dec 04, 2013.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with VISIBILITY/WIPER . the windshield washer fluid does not get sprayed onto the windshield. rather, the fluid sprays the base of windshield wiper and traps the liquid between the bottom of the blade and into the wiper well. pinhead sized dots of fluid make it halfway up the windshield offering no fluid for the wipers to use to clean the window. after 4 good pulls, excess washer fluid drained from the wiper well and ran down the side of the car exiting from the driver wheel well. the wipers do not "grab" and carry up onto the windshield the excess fluid as it drains back into the wiper well as the fluid is sprayed at the base of the wipers out of reach of the blade. i have just returned from taking my car to sid dillon nissan in lincoln, nebraska, and was told if they adjusted the sprayer it would spray the inside of the hood and they must leave the nozzles where they are. i should note the nozzles are anchored to the hood and raise up and away from the engine (no fluid lines attached when hood is open) when the hood is raised this is dangerous...i will not be able to clean my windshield (which is the purpose of the fluid sprayer) when encountering post-storm highway sludge, melting and dirty snow are thrown onto the windshield of my car by other vehicles. i do not know if the nozzles are defective and the service department is reluctant to replace them or if this is a design flaw. either way, if the windshield gets dirty while i am driving, i will not be able to see. this is terrifying. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 4100 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 Visibility/wiperNissan Sentra 2013 Visibility/wiper Review #10563776 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on Feb 05, 2014.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with VISIBILITY/WIPER . i am concerned about the safety of my vehicle due to the way it was designed. it is impossible to keep the front windshield from fogging up or icing up while driving in inclement weather. the defroster does not allow enough heat to blow on the windshield to keep it clear during driving, causing the driver's visibility to be obstructed and making it a safety hazard. due to the fact there is not enough heated air blowing on the windshield, a large section of the corners (especially the passenger side) becomes coated with fog or ice, obscuring vision. the right windshield wiper even becomes coated with a large chunk of ice on the tip, causing it to stop wiping the right side of the front windshield. on a long trip, the driver has to stop the vehicle to manually clean the wiper and windshield on the right side or continue driving without being able to see clearly. this is not always an option, especially if driving on an interstate where there is no safe place to pull off the road. the vehicle is not designed to be driven in a cold climate (like wintertime in the usa). another safety risk i have run into with this vehicle is the placement of the gas tank release button. in order to reach the button, one has to open the driver door and reach down under the front dashboard to pop the gas tank. this makes the driver vulnerable to anyone on the outside of the vehicle who may want to attack or rob the driver from behind while their door is open and they are bending forward. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 12000 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 Service Brakes Review #10622663 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on Aug 15, 2014.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with SERVICE BRAKES . driving home on long island expressway after work, it was rush hour, the traffic move slow. one exit before i should get off high way, noticed something different when stepped on brakes, it was loose, there was no resistance and the car didn't respond, either took long time to slow down a little bit or not slow down. i have no experiences at all and it didn't register in my head it was the brakes, i even thought maybe i was too tired and my judgement was off. i continued driving in the very slow traffic. soon at the exit, i had to pick up the speed a little bit to merge into the service road. then i really realized the brakes not working, because i can't stop the car at the intersection traffic light, the light turn orange at the moment, i had no choice, turned left , the car continued and slowed down a little bit, just wondering what to do at the next intersection , the left turn signal light was on and i turned the car to the left onto the service road again. i was close to home already. at that moment i didn't know what to do, thinking if i can't stop the car at least i should keep it at very low speed , approximately less than 5 miles. at the next traffic light, the car managed to stop. i didn't know if it was because it was already at the lowest speed and stopped naturally or the brakes still had a little control. for the whole time , since i was very scared and panic, i never realized i should forced the car stop with the emergency hand control brake or just switched to parking position. after i passed the traffic light, i remembered and pulled over on the side of the road and parked my car. then i called geico insurance and aaa to have my car towed to the nearest nissan service center. it all happened between 5:30-7:30 pm. the nissan service center already closed the business hour. .0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Nissan Sentra 2013 problem was reported in HICKSVILLE, NY. Nissan Sentra 2013 Service BrakesNissan Sentra 2013 Service Brakes Review #10671945 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on Oct 01, 2013.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with SERVICE BRAKES . ever since the vehicle was purchased i have experienced issues with the brakes, every time i come to a stop and press the brake after a few seconds the car starts moving and the brake pedal looses pressure and i have to push my foot further than normal, eventually my foot touches the floor of the vehicle and i can't push the brake any further, so i have to tap the gas and then re-engage the brake again. this is very dangerous if you are going downhill and come to a stop. i have taken my car numerous times, that it's getting to the point that its become an inconvenience to actually own the car, to the service department of the nissan i purchased (nissan of bergenfield in new jersey) and they have said nothing is wrong with the car, they looked at the brakes and even applied more pressure on the lines but still the issue persists. i don't understand how a company that values safety would allow their clients to be driving vehicles with this fault. i'm not sure what they are waiting for in order for them to realize that this is not safe by any means, specially for my family who i have to drive and pick up to and from work. i have also spoken with the dealership but have yet to come to a resolution. if you can please open an investigation regarding this matter. please contact me for any information you may need..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 20 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 EngineNissan Sentra 2013 Engine Review #10672846 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on Dec 20, 2014.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with ENGINE . my wife was driving on interstate 15 as we left san diego, california. in the car was my adult daughter and my two granddaughters, ages 1 1/2 and 10 months. i was ahead of her in our nissan pathfinder. she called my phone and said that the car rpm's were fluctuating and that the car wasn't going to make it home to twentynine palms. we pulled off the freeway in escondido. i checked the sentra and found that in idle and park that the engine ran fine. when i drove the car, it was lurching like the transmission wasn't shifting correctly. after checking the engine compartment, i drove to a well lite parking lot and while the family ate, i called aaa and had the sentra towed to mossy nissan of escondido. on monday the 22nd, my wife called mossy nissan and told them what happened. they called her back saying that it wasn't the transmission, that a sensor had been taken off of the manifold by her husband or our mechanic. she assured them that since the car was only 13 months old and under warranty, no mechanic had worked on the car and that i had only done the oil changes, but had not worked on the engine. mossy nissan said that they would not honor the warranty since the sensor in the manifold was removed. i called mossy nissan and told them that i had not worked on the engine, that no mechanic had worked on the engine and that the sensor had to have fallen off the car while my wife was driving it on the freeway. they referred me to nissan usa, which said the same thing; that since the sensor was missing, they had nothing to turn in for warranty, so they would not honor the warranty. the price to repair the car was over $700, as they said i needed a complete manifold with the sensor attached. after repeated calls, mossy now said that my car will be repaired by 1/17/15 and the price will be under $500 because i had to wait for a part from the factory..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 34000 miles. Nissan Sentra 2013 Air Bags Review #10676471 NISSAN SENTRA 2013 car safety problem was reported on June 03, 2013.NISSAN SENTRA 2013, manufactured by Nissan North America, Inc. had a problem with AIR BAGS . the issue began almost immediately after purchasing this vehicle. the passenger airbag would randomly go off, while the passenger was sitting in the seat. shortly after noticing this nissan put out a recall on this vehicle. we have now taken it back to the dealership 2 times, and although they told me the problem was fixed, both times, it continues to exist. i have spoken to nissan corporate around a dozen times. they have no sense of urgency, and each conversation has to happen 48 hours apart, for some strange reason. i am still waiting for another callback so a specialist can now come to look at my vehicle. an appointment like this takes a more than 4 weeks to arrange; again, no urgency. each time they make me schedule something, i have to take a day off of work, because they cannot accommodate evening schedules. i have expressed my concern over the dangers with this issue, yet it seems as though nissan does not care. quite frankly, i am nervous to have people in the passenger seat of my vehicle. it is a bit strange to have my wife sit in the back seat, but this beats having to worry about dangers of sitting in the front seat. .0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 16500 miles. i took my 2005 nissan xterra to a dealership in long beach ca, to have them run a diagnostic test on why my check engine would go off. I drove off having more problems then a had when i took my vehicle into be tested. i paid 1'323.28 for a battery what does it mean when I put my 2004 Nissan Altima in drive and it takes it about 10 or seconds before it will go into drive. The weird thing is I can go into reverse with no problem or lower gear it goes I have a problem with my 2005 Nissan TPMS. After about 10 miles, the reading on the display changes to "**" for 1 of the 4 tires and the low pressure warning light comes on. I've checked pressure on the tires and they are all fine. This can result in gradual wear over a period of time inside the joint that could lead to the separation of the wiper linkage assembly from the wiper motor linkage at the joint ball. I have a 05 nissan maxima with 35,000 miles. I'm not having a problem at this time. I would like to know if a transgo Kit for the valvebody will help to prevent future problems with the transmission. I have a 01 Niss UD 2600 No Fuel aqt the inj pump but fuel getting to the pump its been very cold and i have changed both filters. i was told there is a crank sensor in the inj. pump where is it?? And How do i check it
