THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE PLASTIC COMPONENTS OF THE DOOR PANELS AND DASHBOARD BEGAN TO SLOWLY MELT OVER THE COURSE OF TIME, EXPOSING A SHINY COAT THAT BLINDED THE CONTACT WHEN THE SUNLIGHT WOULD REFLECT FROM THE COATING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE DOOR PANELS AND THE DASHBOARD WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 63,957. .0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 59000 miles. LEXUS IS 350 2007 car safety problem was reported on Dec 13, 2013.LEXUS IS 350 2007, manufactured by TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION had a problem with AIR BAGS . I WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH WHILE DRIVING MY 2007 LEXUS IS ON FRIDAY DECEMBER 13, 2013. I REAR ENDED A TOYOTA SEQUOIA TRUCK. MY CAR SUSTAINED HEAVY DAMAGE, YET THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE AIR BAG SENSOR AT THE FRONT BUMPER WAS DESTROYED IN THE CRASH. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE BEFORE THIS ACCIDENT, AND NO REPAIR WORK HAS BEEN PERFORMED ON THE CAR OTHER THAN ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND RECALL REPAIRS. *TR.Vehicle was involved in a crash. 1 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 64000 miles. windshield casing on drivers side has pulled away from frame causing air noises.  Do alot of 2010's have this issue?
