Power steering went out while making a turn. No leaks, no noise. What do I check. Is there anything electrical to check. Can not see any belt missing. My brother has a 1996 F800, with Cummings diesel. Wirring harnes from strat swith on column to Fuels injection Pump shut off solenoid charred. He replace wire harnes and solenoid. No voltage to solenoid or starter. He has gone thru the ignitio 1993 Ford Ranger, Hit the brakes hard at a stop light and entire electrical system shut down in seconds Have a 2002 Taurus; will be driving down the road and engine shuts down. Still have electrical power though. Seeing so many questions on this issue and so many suggestions. Replaced the crank sensor and fuel filter a couple of months ago and pr my 2004 crown victoria has a electrical problem.
