Dodge Journey Awd 2010 Vehicle Speed ControlDodge Journey Awd 2010 Vehicle Speed Control Review #10348654 DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010 car safety problem was reported on July 15, 2010.DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL . i own a 2010 dodge journey. whenever the cruise control is engaged and the car's speed increases to a speed of approximately five miles per hour over the cruise control setting, when you are traveling downhill, for example, the car will violently downshift and the engine's rpms will rise to over 5000 rpms unless you disengage the cruise control. the downshift is violent and could result is a loss of control if you are on a less than a clear, dry road surface. the car was taken to the dealership and we were told that the issue was known but no fix was available. i was told not to use the cruise control unless there were dry driving conditions. my concern is that there may be hidden damage done to the car due to the violent nature of the shifting and i may lose control, even on dry surfaces as the shifting is surprising and violent. *tr.Mileage was 7000 miles. Dodge Journey Awd 2010 TiresDodge Journey Awd 2010 Tires Review #10410841 DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010 car safety problem was reported on July 04, 2011.DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with TIRES . this complaint pertains to a limited supply chain problem with the 2010 dodge journey tire and wheel combination which may lead to accidents. my 2010 journey has a custom tire size of 225/55/19, which is how dodge designed it. kuhmo is the only tire mfg that supplies this tire size. in may of 2011 i had one tire failure and it took approx. 12 days to locate a tire due to a national back order. that resulted in me riding on my smaller spare tire during that time. on july 4th 2011 we had another tire fail and again there is no replacement available due to the custom tire size and kuhmo's national tire shortage. i am now riding on my spare again while my mechanic searches nationally for a tire. my recommendation is that you alert dodge/chrysler of this issue and have them find an alternate supplier of this custom tire size. *tr.Mileage was 43000 miles. Dodge Journey Awd 2010 Service Brakes, HydraulicDodge Journey Awd 2010 Service Brakes, Hydraulic Review #10421940 DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010 car safety problem was reported on Aug 20, 2010.DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC . went on a vacation to yellowstone national park. all the way out had intermitent pulsation of the steering wheel when braking at highway speeds. front discs and brake pads were replaced by dealer at 11921 miles because of warped rotors.after many more complaints of pulsations when braking the dealer replaced the rear discs and pads at 23184 miles, account warped rotors. so after 6 1/2 months ( october 10 ) the front rotors were warped and 10 months later ( august 8, 2011 ) the rear rotors were warped. the pulsation has happened again already and it is only august 22 2011.each time i take the car in for the pulsation problem the dealer says he takes it for a ride and finds no problem. each time it has had the same mileage in as the mileage out. i don't think the dealer even took it for a ride because he already knew what the problem was..Mileage was 7400 miles. Dodge Journey Awd 2010 WheelsDodge Journey Awd 2010 Wheels Review #10567681 DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010 car safety problem was reported on Mar 06, 2014.DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with WHEELS . i am currently the co-owner along with my wife of 2010 dodge journey awd . we live in northwestern erie county, pennsylvania. this area traditionally receives 86 plus inches of snow, and snow covered icy roads are the norm during the snow season. on 5 march 2014, my wife noticed that the low tire pressure dashboard warning light was activated. i attributed the signal to the low air temperature which was below 0 degree f. on 6 march 2014 after i drove the car in 20+ degrees f. the warning light remained activated. i took the vehicle to my local tire shop to have the tire pressure checked by the professional. the owner/technician checked the air pressure in all tires. while checking tire pressure, one retaining nut (located on the outside tire rim) which holds the tire sensor monitor (located inside the tire) split, and one half of the nut fell onto the floor. upon further inspection the remaining retaining nuts were found to be corroded, but not cracked. the technician/owner explained to me what the problem was, and what the results could be if the sensor monitor was not immediately replace. he also gave me examples of other customers to whom the same thing had happened. the biggest danger according to him was a sudden loss of tire air pressure which could cause an accident. he stated he finds the retaining nut problem only on chrysler/fiat vehicles. i immediately took the vehicle to the dealership where at my expense the tire pressure sensor monitor was replaced. the dealership also stated that they could not under federal law replace the sensor monitor with a standard tire valve. i feel that these monitors need to be consider for a safety recall. please advise me and other owners (especially those who reside in cold, snowy climates) of chrysler/fiat products as to remedies to this potentially serious safety concern and financial burden. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 41400 miles. Dodge Journey Awd 2010 Electrical System Review #10629092 DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010 car safety problem was reported on Apr 15, 2014.DODGE JOURNEY AWD 2010, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . our vehicle worked fine after purchase up until sometime in april. then our horn started honking uncontrollably for no reason. nothing i did would shut it off so i ended up taking out the fuses until we could get it fixed. eventually our battery died for seemingly no reason and we had to have it replaced as well as try and get the horn fixed. originally the dealership thought it was all the cause of the battery dying but eventually conceded that it was a wiring problem. we took it to get that fixed and were without a vehicle for a month. when they finally fixed and returned it it was fine for about a week bu then the horn started honking for no reason again. by the time the tow truck got it to the dealership it had stopped and the mechanics could not diagnose the issue, however now it has started again. i then heard about the tipm issue with the chrysler models and it sounds as though my vehicle may be showing signs of the same issue. i was advised to make a report here. any information on how and when this will be rectified would be greatly appreciated..0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 48000 miles. I have a 2008 Dodge Nitro thats rear driver side light does not work. I have taken it to a mechanic that can't find out why it won't work and have spent 200.00 He thinks it might be in the wiring system . I have also seen other Dodge Nitro same ye Every time it rains heavily the passenger floor gets soaking wet. My car has never been in an accident or any body damage. It is a 2007 Nitro 4X4. Wasn't there a recall years ago for fixing the roof rack assembly? Has anyone else ever had this iss stereo is all static but the cd player works fine...antennae perhaps? I have the same problem. Dodge can't find the problem so they told me to take it. Next week I'm turning it in and go through the lemom law. Very frustrating when you buy the warrrant and they can't fix it. Garrrrrrrrr. Ihave a 95 Dodge Avenger and the 30 Amp starter/ignition fuse keeps blowing. As soon as you turn the key the instrument panel lights are dim and then the fuse blows. I have replaced the starter, cables, ignition switch, fusible link and battery an 2004 Dodge 2500 Ram Truck, Laramie trim package...horn goes off with no one around it - truck is off and parked in the driveway, keys were not touched. power windows won't work pushing window buttons causes the water in fuel lite to come on along with the brake indicator lite and wait to start lite also turning on the a/c heater causes the same thing soon as you release the switches lites go out 2001 Dodge 5.9 cummins going down the road it sputtered 3 times & shut off and will not restart I purchased a new Dodge Grand Caravan from Bankston Dodge of Grand Prairie, Texas in May of 2008. Less than 8 months after that (around 12,000 miles) my front brakes went completely out with no indication whatsoever of any problems (The device tha 1995 DODGE NEON 1.6l Feels like it is slipping while driving. with brake pedal depressed car surges, Probably not the door seals. You may have to unstop the two drains that can get filled with debris. The two drains are located in the trough under the grill work that is under the wiper blades. You will need to remove the wiper arms, then remove a '06 dakota - unable to put fuel in gas tank
