THIS IS NOT NORMAL, YOU ROTATE TIRE TO GET THE MOST MILEAGE FROM YOUR TIRES, NOT TO ELIMINATE VIBRATIONS IN THE FRONT END. WE HAD IT TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES ASKING IF IT WAS OUT OF ALIGNMENT OR HAD SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE SUSPENSION ONLY TO BE TOLD IT WAS IN ALIGNMENT AND THERE WAS NO PROBLEM. NOW I HERE THAT THERE IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN WITH THE FRONT SUSPENSION AND I THINK CRYSLER HAS KNOWN ABOUT THIS ALL ALONG PUTTING MY FAMILIES LIFE ON THE LINE. INCIDENT WE LEASED A 1999 DURAGO AND HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS. NOW OUR WARRANTY IS UP AND WE FEAR ANY MOMENT THERE WILL BE ANOTHER MAJOR FAILURE. HERE IS A LIST OF PROBLEMS WE HAVE HAD: 1) MULTIPLE MAJOR TRANSMISSION FAILURES (ABOUT EVERY 20K), SEAL LEAKS, IRREGULAR SHIFTING AND OTHER MALFUNCTIONS THAT CONTINUE TODAY. THE DEALER AT ONE TIME TOLD US THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG, AND A SHORT TIME LATER THERE WAS A MAJOR FAILURE. WE ARE JUST WAITING FOR THE NEXT MAJOR FAILURE TRANSMISSION FAILURE. 2) THE INTAKE GASKET FAILED SUCKING MOST OF THE OIL OUT OF THE MOTOR CAUSING LOW OIL PRESSURE AND THE LIGHT TO COME ON. I SEE BY THE COMPLAINTS THIS IS COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 360 MOTOR. OUR OIL CONSUMPTION WAS UP TO 1 QUART PER 100 MILES BEFORE THE DEALER FIXED. 3)THE STEERING HAS ALWAYS BEEN A CONCERN SINCE WE BOUGHT IT. THE DURANGO WANDERS AND TRIES TO STEER ITSELF. DRIVING DOWN A STRAIGHT FLAT AND EVEN ROAD THE WHEN YOU RELEASE THE STEERING WHEEL THE WHEEL MOVES FROM SIDE TO SIDE LIKE SOMONE IS STEERING IT. WHEN WE DRIVE IT FEELS TWITCHY, LIKE YOUR CONSTANTLY FIGHTING THE VEHICLE FOR CONTROL. EVEN WHEN WE REPLACED THE TIRES WITH A DIFFERENT BRAND THE, IT HAD NO INPACT TO THE HANDLING.
