I have a 2008 Escape Hybrid. I recently to it in to the shop to let them look at my brakes. What would happen, is that when I would brake, the car would lurch forward! Ford's is trying to tell me that it is normal wear tear that I will have to pay for the brakes in spite of the fact that I bought extra warranty. I have been driving for over 40 years I know when my brakes need repair that I AM liable for. However, this seems to be another problem! The dealer also told me that Ford's has put out a bulletin about the problem I'm having. Apparently, that's short of a recall. To me, that is an acknowledgement of an abnormal brake problem. Why should I have to fork out the money?!

I have a 2012 Ford Escape Hybrid Limited. The rear left passenger seat belt would not loosen after attempting to remove our child from her car seat. It had retracted and locked the belt so tightly, that we couldnt unlatch the belt from the buckle.
