In the all-electronic display on my 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis, my dashboard lights (including my radio light and the overhead console lights) go out when I turn on either the headlights or the parking lights. When my exterior lights are off, the Mercury Villager, electronic LED instrument panel cluster flickers, then stops working, comes back on when hitting brakes.
Once brakes are released the instrument panel goes black again.
However it shows ABS light being on.
