Hello, my 2002 electra glide standard just started blowing the fuse for the lighting system. All lights work until I start up the bike, and then the fuse blows. What's going on? hit a hole in the road hit my bakes at the same time my bike now viberritebad Has anyone had any luck finding out what the electrical problem is that make the bikes electrical shut down completly while driving has anyone any knowledge of hd springers bowing out possibilities? after 21,000 miles on an 08 crossbones, my right front leg significantly bows out. i am only operator & have had increasing worse handling as the mileage grew, from when i purc I think the 40 amp circuit that is being replaced with a 50 amp breaker sticks open your bike is not charging and when the batt gets to 10.6 volts it shuts down.Your voltage regulator is wired to this breaker. Ted NH 2007 FDXWG just quits during a ride. Engine on/off switch does not always prime the engine on I have stopped. Does nothing then it works. Any answers? 2002 Road King classic rear wheel failure. Rim split up the middle along spoke channels. Lucky to get the bike to a stop without going down. Occurred on 2/4/12 in SoCal. Bike has 40,500 miles on it. my 06 fxdi overheats in little traffic. in winter&summer. harleys suck going to get rid of it .never had problems with my 07 honda vtx 40k mi .ride every day 70mi to &from work. harley's allways in shop!! I have the very same bike & just recently I replaced the front tire with the same tire. The origional tube was still good so I just used the same one. Had a problem balancing, seems to be using a lot of weights, other than that no problem & Check your ground from battery to frame and to starter. Make sure it's not on a painted surface's as mine was. I fixed mine and no more stator or regulator problems. I have a 2008 softail custom fxstc . The other day whilst riding along the engine coughed a couple of times as if missing. A bit later it died until i almost reached a dead stop. It kicked into life and i rode it home but the engine warning light Radio is just making staticy noise whether the power to radio is on or not, the cassette does identical same thing. I have lost all electrical power momentarily while riding twice. the power will go away and then come back immediately. Any ideas w
