Chrysler Sebring 2008 Vehicle Speed Control Cruise ControlChrysler Sebring 2008 Vehicle Speed Control Cruise Control Review #10250397 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Nov 04, 2008.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by CHRYSLER LLC had a problem with VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:CRUISE CONTROL . on the date mentioned, i was driving an enterprise rental car, 2008 chrysler sebring lx, from idaho falls, id to salt lake city, ut. i was traveling appx. 73-75mph with the cruise control set for the last 50 miles. i was approaching asemi truck/trailer and tapped the brakes to disengage the cruise control. at that time the car started to accelerate, i tapped the brakes two more times to try to disengage the cc and the car just continued to accelerate. at this time i decided i need to take a more aggressive approach and started slamming on the brakes which caused me to lose control of the car and strike the rear end of the trailer. that caused me to spin out of control and enter into the center median of the i-15. i was able to get the car stopped after the wreck. for whatever reason, i couldn't get the cc to disengage and in fact the cc caused the vehicle to suddenly accelerate. i had no control of the speed of the car. the brakes were really not too effective in slowing the car while it was accelerating. *tr.Vehicle was involved in a crash. 1 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 26000 miles. Chrysler Sebring 2008 SteeringChrysler Sebring 2008 Steering Review #10430754 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Sept 03, 2011.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with STEERING . on september 30, 2010, i purchased a 2008 chrysler sebring from a dealership in plymouth, wi. the car had 19,204 miles on it. the car also had bridgestone turanza tires. i took my car into tires plus for an oil change at 22,700 miles on the dash. i was told by the technician that i needed new tires, because my tires had 3/32 of tread on them. on january 28, 2011, there was a recall on the car so gandrud installed a auto trans shift lever interlock spring.they also checked tire pressure and set tire pressure. a about a month later, i started having trouble with getting my key out of the ignition switch. having to wiggle the steering column to get it out. i took the car back to gandrud to have them check it and they told me nothing was wrong with it. on may 11, 2011, i took my car in for another oil change and tire rotation. gandrud told me i had 4/32 tread on the tires at 30,026 miles. on june 24, 2011, i took it back to gandrud for another oil change at 33,572 miles on the dash and was told i had 4/32 of tire tread left on the tires. it was not two months later, i moved to milwaukee, wi. on august 18, 2011, amato hyundai was running a special for $12.00 an oil change. i went got an oil change and the technician there told me i needed to get new tires for the car. he stated at this time i had less than 2/32 of tread on my tire. i got a quote from the service guy, decided i can beat that price.set-up an appointment with tires plus for four tires an alignment. unfortunately, i did not make it to get my new tires on the car. on september 03, 2011, i was involved in a car accident on the freeway. i was traveling in far left lane, maneuvering to the middle lane when my steering wheel and my tires were no longer functioning together. i almost lost my life that day, but god so fit for me to live to tell about it. it was the most shocking day of my life. i thank god i am here to make a complaint. these dealerships can't continue to scam us this way. it's not worth our life. *tr.Vehicle was involved in a crash. 1 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 37500 miles. Chrysler Sebring 2008 Fuel System, GasolineChrysler Sebring 2008 Fuel System, Gasoline Review #10448522 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Dec 01, 2011.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE . when filling the vehicle with gas, the gas sprays back out of the filler tube after the automatic shut-off of the gas station pump. i would estimate one to two cups of gasoline spray out onto the pump handle, the side of the car, my clothes, and the drive. this is a forceful spray. this happens on the initial shut-off of the pump, unrelated to topping off the tank. this started around december of 2011 and happens at all gas stations. there is no noticeable slope to the drives at these gas stations and it does not matter which speed i use on the pump. it will happen if i use the slowest speed or if i set the pump handle to full speed. this is a safety issue! i see others online with the same complaints in chrysler vehicles. what can i do? *tr.Mileage was 67000 miles. Chrysler Sebring 2008 Vehicle Speed ControlChrysler Sebring 2008 Vehicle Speed Control Review #10454846 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Mar 31, 2012.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by CHRYSLER GROUP LLC had a problem with VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL . my wife was driving our 2008 chrysler sebring at roughly around 45mph when the (etc) electronic throttle control light came. she lost control of the vehicle momentarily, had to use the emergency brake to slow the car down. she shut the care off, went to start it back up again and it wouldn't do anything, keep in mind she had our 2 children in the vehicle also. after a couple of tries to start the vehicle, it finally started again, no more light! she had told me what the car was doing, so i drove it for a day, and nothing happened at all. later that night she went to the store, and it did it again!! this time it stayed on and started blinking. i drove the car, and it wont go over 20mph, and idles really rough, also idles high, between 1500-2100rpm. i am writing this because after doing some research on this it seems as though there is more than a couple thousand vehicles that have done the same thing. Chrysler Sebring 2008 Electrical System Review #10495994 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Jan 28, 2013.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with ELECTRICAL SYSTEM . on monday 1/28/2013 after a heavy morning of snowing and raining, i began to run errands. all of sudden my car 2008 chrysler sebring stalled as i was driving. i started the car immediately back up with no problems however shortly afterwards pulling up to a traffic light the car stalled again. everything in the car goes off as if someone has turned the ignition key to off position. this is very dangerous as there are no warning to the possibility the car is about to stall. tuesday 1/29/13 i took my car to a local repair chain as it continued to stall and they reported not finding anything electrical wrong with the car nor mechanical. however, they suggested that when cars stall sometimes it may be the spark plugs may need to be replaced. so based on their suggestion i had the spark plugs replaced/tune up. unfortunately, this did not solve the problem as i drove home car stalled. on wednesday 1/20/13, i took the car to another trusted mechanic and they reported the problem being electrical and manufactured due to how the car totally shuts down and not registering with the dash board a problem. on 1/31/13 i had the car towed to the chrysler dealership only for them to confirm, so far, what the other two mechanics already told me, its an electrical problem that is not showing up on dash. for three days the car stalled aprx. 11 times at traffic lights and/or in motion. i have read there was a recall on 2007-2008 chrysler sebring's however when i called chrysler i was told that did not include my car due to it being manufactured a month later than the recall cars. however, the recall notice describes exactly what is happening to my car. i have also communicated with 2 other people to whom have complained about the same stalling issues with the same year and model car. i just hope it does not take someone losing their life before changes are made to solve this problem. *tr.0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 58500 miles. Chrysler Sebring 2008 SteeringChrysler Sebring 2008 Steering Review #10588202 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Sept 03, 2011.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with STEERING . i reported these problems back in september 2011 after i was involved in a car accident on the freeway. on september 03, 2011, i was driving on south i-43 freeway. when i attempted to make a lane change, my car went out of control due to steering failure. i could not steer my car, my steering wheel was very loose and there was no connection between the steering wheel and the vehicle itself. i was struck by another driver that hit my car on the passenger-side by the rear lower side panel. no airbag deployed. my car slammed up against the concrete wall barrier on the passenger-side of my car. i have side airbags, airbags in my seats, underneath my dash, in my steering wheel, one on the passenger's side above the glove compartment, and in all four window seals of my car and not one airbag deployed. i have adr system in my car that supposedly can record seconds of activity at the time of the accident. what happened to that information? i am still experiencing problems with my care that is definitely a safety issue such as; continuing replacing tie rod and the stabilizer bar loose. this problem started first having problems trying to turn the key in the ignition switch to crank the car and at times fearing that i might break the key in the ignition switch and having to really wiggle the steering wheel to get the switch to turn over. pictures that were taken by my insurance company revealed a lot of rusty old looking parts underneath the car when in fact the motor of the car still looks new. my car was only two years old with a little over 17,000 miles at the time of purchase in october 2010. when i reported these all of these things in september 2011, i was told that there was no recalls on my car and i doubt if this car has any airbags in it. i learned after, i had the accident in my car, that the car had been wrecked and had possible frame damage at the time of purchase. *tr.Vehicle was involved in a crash. 1 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 35000 miles. Chrysler Sebring 2008 WheelsChrysler Sebring 2008 Wheels Review #10588202 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Sept 03, 2011.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with WHEELS . i reported these problems back in september 2011 after i was involved in a car accident on the freeway. on september 03, 2011, i was driving on south i-43 freeway. when i attempted to make a lane change, my car went out of control due to steering failure. i could not steer my car, my steering wheel was very loose and there was no connection between the steering wheel and the vehicle itself. i was struck by another driver that hit my car on the passenger-side by the rear lower side panel. no airbag deployed. my car slammed up against the concrete wall barrier on the passenger-side of my car. i have side airbags, airbags in my seats, underneath my dash, in my steering wheel, one on the passenger's side above the glove compartment, and in all four window seals of my car and not one airbag deployed. i have adr system in my car that supposedly can record seconds of activity at the time of the accident. what happened to that information? i am still experiencing problems with my care that is definitely a safety issue such as; continuing replacing tie rod and the stabilizer bar loose. this problem started first having problems trying to turn the key in the ignition switch to crank the car and at times fearing that i might break the key in the ignition switch and having to really wiggle the steering wheel to get the switch to turn over. pictures that were taken by my insurance company revealed a lot of rusty old looking parts underneath the car when in fact the motor of the car still looks new. my car was only two years old with a little over 17,000 miles at the time of purchase in october 2010. when i reported these all of these things in september 2011, i was told that there was no recalls on my car and i doubt if this car has any airbags in it. i learned after, i had the accident in my car, that the car had been wrecked and had possible frame damage at the time of purchase. *tr.Vehicle was involved in a crash. 1 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 35000 miles. Chrysler Sebring 2008 Unknown Or OtherChrysler Sebring 2008 Unknown Or Other Review #10671650 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008 car safety problem was reported on Dec 15, 2014.CHRYSLER SEBRING 2008, manufactured by Chrysler Group LLC had a problem with UNKNOWN OR OTHER . i first noticed the light in the analog click go out, then the light in the shifter and overhead lamp. most importantly is my power locks stopped working. i purchased a 5 batteries for my remote key and when that didn't work i purchased a new set of keys. the horn and lights would sound but the locks would not lock. i have to manually lock my doors and i'm unable to access my trunk unless i crawl in from the back seat and hit the release. i've had several people look over my car and i no one can figure this out. i finally started researching and i see several recalls but because my car was not built in a certain time and location i'm not qualified for the recalls unless i pay out of my own pocket. i can't even trade it in and get a good enough price due to these malfunctions. i will by no means trust chrysler or dodge vehicles. .0 person(s) were injured. 0 person(s) died.Mileage was 72000 miles. head light switch working backwards and parking lights wont go out on 2000 concorde. we've already replaced bcm with no change 09 Crystler 300 driver front door will not lock or unlock with keyless entry. Same thing here, interior lights keep flashing on and off, driving me nuts. I'll never buy another chrysler, because of all the problems I've had with this car. fuel gauge will not work, the air bag light on,air condition will not work right. my pt2006 manual has a problem with shifting. clutch in and hard to get into gears - jam them in - master/slave just changed, still have a problem chrysler sebring convertible top squeels going up and down 2006 Chrysler 300, 36,892 miles, dome lights and lights over doors and led mileage came o n after car shut off and doors locked.
