I own a 2002 Pontiac Firebird convertible that I bought used in 2006 with less than 30,000 miles on it and in excellent condition inside and out.As of todays date it has less than 89,000 miles on it. I've had to replace the brake pads on the rear,a normal wear and tear thing, and replace one of the 3 coils when my have engine serviced soon light went on and had a giant loss of power and it began cutting out. Have replaced the serpentine belt already as mine began to show slight signs of wear and wasn't about to take a chance on it breaking. The oil has been changed every time the light said to and switched to synthetic oil not long ago with good results. I've experienced the drivers door skin coming away from the door itself and my husband found a larger sized skrew to replace the old one and it's only done it one time after that, which he fixed again with good results. I've had no other problems with it and it's been a great car for me! It's started at 20 below with no engine heater or being in a garage,no electrical problems with the power windows, seat, headlights and so on. No exterior light problems and have had neon undercarriage lights on it for over 4 years. No windshield gripes other than it's hard to reach it all to clean it! My only complaint is that it's had a slight "wobble" on the drivers front wheel since I bought it and it's now getting worse. It only wobbles for a short time when it's first driven after having sat for 24 hours or longer and then it's gone. Just put new set of tires on it about 4,000 miles ago with old ones showing no irregular wear and these showing no signs of irregular wear. The wheel makes no noise nor does it pull to that side when letting go of steering wheel at 65 MPH and it corners as well as a Corvette in my opinion. I have the 6 cylinder 3.8 liter engine and get 30 miles to the gallon. Will find out what the wheel problem is in a few days I hope.
