My mechanic removed the air bag fuse while replaccing the signal arm ...

My mechanic removed the air bag fuse while replaccing the signal arm on the steering column.  Now when we put the fuse back in and reset it we still get a "AIRBAG FAULT" message.  ????? Anyone have any ideas??
