Bought my wife a used 2010 Ford Fusion in November. It had a warranty on it that expired in January. Almost immediately we started noticing problems with the car. Took it back to the dealer and they could not find anything wrong with it. Almost to the day the warranty expired the check engine light came on. When we took the car back the light went off, and they told us not to worry about it. Now the light has come on again, and its a valve in the Vapor Recovery System and the Vapor Recovery Canister. Their estimate for the work is over $600 us to fix the problem.... on a car we just bought. On top of it the car has developed other issues in the drivetrain. It is a nice car when it runs properly... the 5 miles total that it has run properly. Being a chronic patient who needs reliable transportation, I am incredibly disappointed. Not only will I never buy another Ford, I will actively encourage my friends and family not to make the same mistake my wife and I made.
