driving about 40mph car suddenly loses all power, comes to a complete stop and dies. All warning lights on console come on and flash. Up to this date since the very week of buying the car new i would express to several people that i didn't think the car ran right. it would hesitate when it should accelerate. It would shift to a low gear when it should have shifted to a higher one. Or it would shift very hard and jerky (automatic transmission).  The RPM's always sounded like they were running to high before shifting. Also "service air bag" system light was staying on all the time now too and it would throw a stabilizer light every now and then. The day is died in the middle of the road the main lights that stayed on after that was the airbag and stabilizer one. I had On-Star run a diagnostic test once i got going down the road again. I was advised to have the car serviced immediately. The Service tech said the throttle body was bad and a wire had come lose so he just reattached it which was in regard to the air bag . Wow! the car ran like a freaking champ. It was running the way i had expected it to and then some. This lasted all of two weeks. Service air bag light is on all the time again and the car is running like crap, matter of fact Almost lost complete power driving down the road. It lost enough power that it would only run at a very slow crawl. But it did not die and it finally caught fire and picked up speed. To say the least i am so upset and disappointed. Not to mention embarrassed.  I have read lists of safety reports and technical service issues on this model and yet i don't see one recall or one answer to what is causing all these problems or how to fix them. Chevrolet!! What the Heck!?!
