Brakes have all of a sudden stopped working when stepping on the ...

Brakes have all of a sudden stopped working when stepping on the brake....VERY SCARY to feel like you have no control in stopping the vehicle as it is in drive or reverse mode. It just started this yesterday and has done it several times over the last two days. I made an appointment with dealer...I also did research and find that there is some recall on hydraulic brakes (something like that). I bet this car has that problem!! I'm afraid to drive it because it actually feels like there are no brakes on the vehicle when you step on them. VC/TX
