2004 forester xt, strong gas smell in the cold weather when the heat is on. They won't fix it because they "can't find it" at my dealership. Do I need a new fuel line or is there an easier fix?

I have a 2004 Impreza TS and when I refuel gasoline at the pump, I cannot put more than 50 cents at a time without it shutting off repeatedly.

Yes the dealer can check fuel volume, the tech just has to do it and apparently didn't.

there must be a regulator for the fuel rail it happened on my sisters alero and was flooding the engine with gas. check your car for a type of gas regulator or valve
