TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 PONTIAC VIBE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY ACCELERATED WHILE THE CONTACT WAS BRAKING. THE ENGINE HAD TO BE TURNED OFF FOR THE ACCELERATION TO STOP. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE THE DEALER TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE BUT WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE AN ENGINEER INSPECT THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
