TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC TORRENT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN SHE STARTED THE VEHICLE, THERE WAS A VERY STRONG FUEL ODOR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS. THE SMELL WAS SO STRONG THAT THE DEALER ADVISED THE DRIVER TO EXIT THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY. AFTER INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT A FUEL LINE ACROSS THE TOP OF THE FUEL TANK WAS LEAKING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 30,300. | |
