Pontiac Sunfire Exterior Lighting Safety Report | Oct 10, 2008

Reported on Oct 10, 2008

MY LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS WILL NOT WORK. I HAVE REPLACED THE COMBINATION SWITCH ON THE STEERING COLUMN TWICE. EACH TIME THE LIGHTS WILL WORK FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS THEN THEY QUIT. THE DEALER SAID THERE COULD BE A PROBLEM WITH THE FRONT WIRING HARNESS BUT A NEW HARNESS IS $600. I BELIEVE GM HAS A PROBLEM WITH THEIR DESIGN AND SHOULD REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE HARNESS. *TR
