I OWN A 2000 CHEVY LUMINA AND A 2001 PONTIAC MONTANA BOTH HAVE 6 CYLINDER ENGINES AND I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE HEAD GASKET ON BOTH OF THESE VEHICLES. ONE HAS 50,000 MILES AND THE OTHER HAS 70,000 MILES. THE MECHANIC THAT DID THE REPAIRS SAID HE IS REPLACING THE HEAD GASKET GM'S 6 CYLINDER VEHICLES ALL THE TIME.
