Pontiac Montana Electrical System Safety Report | Dec 09, 2008
Reported on Dec 09, 2008
NO INCIDENT HAS OCCURRED. THE SPEEDOMETER HAS BEEN ACTING UP FOR 6 - 7 MOS. AND HAS CONTINUALLY GOTTEN WORSE. THE CAR IS ONLY 3.5 YEARS OLD WITH 79,000 MILES. I WILL HAVE TO REPLACE THE CLUSTER (PANEL) WHICH THE COST OF THE PART ALONE IS $400. GM DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THIS MAKE AND MODEL AS HAVING A PROBLEM BUT I FIND IT VERY CONVENIENT THAT THIS IS SUCH A WIDESPREAD PROBLEM WITH GM PRODUCTS. *TR | |
