Pontiac Gto Suspension Front Safety Report | Sept 26, 2008

Reported on Sept 26, 2008

I WAS DOING AN OIL CHANGE AND NOTICED THAT THE INSIDE OF THE FRONT TIRES WERE WORN TO THE STEEL BELTS. I REMOVED THE WHEELS AND NOTICED THERE WAS BARE METAL SHOWING ON THE INSIDE OF THE STRUT TOWER BRACE. I REPLACED MY ENTIRE SET OF TIRES AND THE SAME THING IS OCCURRING. I BROUGHT MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY TELL ME IT IS AN ALIGNMENT ISSUE. I JUST HAD MY ALIGNMENT DONE 5 MONTHS AGO AT PEP BOYS AUTO PARTS STORE. NOW THE DEALER TOLD ME THAT THEY DID IT WRONG. I AM BEING CHARGED FOR INSPECTION OF MY VEHICLE. *TR
