Pontiac Gto Suspension Front Shock Absorber Safety Report | Oct 20, 2006
Reported on Oct 20, 2006
OIL FROM THE LEFT FRONT STRUTS ARE LEAKING INTO THE WHEEL WELL. THE DEALERSHIP INFORMED ME THAT IT IS SAFE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE EVEN WITH THE DEFECTIVE STRUT, BUT DRIVING CONDITION MAY WORSEN DUE TO THE CONTINUING LEAKAGE OF THE STRUT. THE DEALER ORDERED THE STRUTS BUT CLAIMED THAT THE DELIVERY MAY TAKE MORE THAN ONE MONTH. SO IN CONCLUSION, THE AUTOMOBILE, BY THE DEALER'S SUGGESTION, IS SAFE FOR DRIVING EVEN WITH A DEFECTIVE SUSPENSION PART FOR MORE THAN ONE MONTH. *NM | |
