WHILE TRYING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN IN MY 2001 GRAND PRIX PONTIAC THE STEERING LOCKED UP. THIS ALMOST CAUSED A HEAD ON COLLISION. THE STEERING TO THE RIGHT WAS UNAFFECTED. THE LOCAL DEALER REPLACED THE POWER STEERING RACK AND PINION STEERING WHICH COST ME $971.00. THIS DEFECT SHOULD BE A RECALL ITEM.*AK
