Pontiac Grand Prix Exterior Lighting Safety Report | Aug 01, 2010

Reported on Aug 01, 2010

WHILE DRIVING AT NIGHT, ON A BUSY ROAD, THE HEADLIGHTS SIMPLY WENT OFF. AFTER TRYING TO TURN THEM BACK ON WITHOUT SUCCESS, WE HAD TO CONTINUE DRIVING WITH THE HIGH BEAM HEADLIGHTS ON TO GET HOME. THE NEXT DAY THE HEADLIGHTS WORKED. THIS CONTINUES TO HAPPEN PERIODICALLY. SOMETIMES, THE HEADLIGHTS WILL NOT COME ON FROM A COLD START. OTHER TIMES, THE HEADLIGHTS FLASH OFF AND ON WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS A CRITICAL SAFETY ISSUE.
