WHILE DRIVING, THE CAR PUT OUT LITTLE POWER AND I WAS ONLY ABLE TO GO 10-12 MPH. I TOOK TO ONE MECHANIC WHO SAID IT MAY BE TRANSMISSION. I TOOK TO TRANSMISSION SPECIALIST WHO SAID THE TRANSMISSION WAS IN GOOD CONDITION. HE FELT IT WAS SOMETHING IN THE ENGINE. TOOK TO 3RD MECHANIC WHO SAID THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER WAS CLOGGED AND HE REPLACED IT. COST TO FIND OUT IT WAS NOT TRANSMISSION- $51.50. COST TO REPLACE CATALYTIC CONVERTER-$975.15. MILEAGE AT THIS TIME WAS 87747 MILES. *JB
