Pontiac Grand Prix Engine And Engine Cooling Engine Safety Report | Apr 02, 2006

Reported on Apr 02, 2006

I PURCHASED A 2003 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX ON 9/19/03 WITH 12429 MILES ON THE 3100 SFI 6 CYL ENGINE, AND NOW AT 65,550 MILES, THE MANIFOLD GASKET IS LEAKING AND FILLING THE RADIATOR WITH OIL. THE WARRANTY IS GOOD UP TO 75,000, AND I PLAN TO GET THE REPAIRS MADE BY THE DEALER UNDER MY CONTRACT. HOWEVER, THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED TO SUCH A NEW AUTOMOBILE, AND I UNDERSTAND OTHERS HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THIS ENGINE AT 35,000 MILES. *NM
