LEAKING COOLANT. FAILURE OF LOWER INTAKE GASKET FOR COOLING SYSTEM. DIRTY DEX-COOL COOLANT WITH UNUSUAL CONSISTENCY. REPAIR INCLUDED REPLACING LOWER INTAKE GASKET, FLUSHING COOLING SYSTEM, AND REPLACE THERMOSTAT. TOTAL REPAIR COST WAS $700. THIS HAS BECOME A COMMON PROBLEM REPORTED WITH THIS GM 3.1 L V6 ENGINE. PROBLEM COULD HAVE LED TO FAILURE OF ENGINE ON HIGHWAY.*AK
