Pontiac Grand Prix Electrical System Ignition Safety Report | Feb 17, 2003
Reported on Feb 17, 2003
I HAD MY WIRING HARNESS CATCH FIRE ON 2-2-03 WITHOUT WARNING. GM INSPECTING AND I AM STILL WAITING ON THEIR REPORT. HOWEVER, AFTER PICKING UP THE CAR FROM REPAIRS ON 2-15-03, I DROVE THE CAR 2-15 AND 2-16 AND TO WORK ON 2-17. UPON RETURNING TO MY CAR TO START IT, IT WOULD START AND THEN DIE IMMEDIATELY. I HAD TO HAVE THE CAR MOVED TO THE DEALER. NO WARNINGS, NO PROBLEMS, NO LIGHTS TO TELL ME WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM. | |
