Pontiac Grand Am Visibility Power Window Devices And Controls Safety Report | Feb 02, 2007

Reported on Feb 02, 2007

THE WINDOW REGULATOR FAILS EVERY 18 MONTHS OR SO. I'VE REPLACED THE DRIVER'S SIDE THREE TIMES, AND THE PASSENGER SIDE ONCE. IT'S ABOUT $300 EACH TIME, WITH LABOR. THIS SAME COMPLAINT IS UBIQUITOUS ON EVERY WEBSITE THAT LISTS CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. PONTIAC SHOULD HAVE DONE A RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM LONG AGO, AND SHOULD STILL DO IT NOW.
