Pontiac Grand Am Vehicle Speed Control Safety Report | Sept 28, 2003

Reported on Sept 28, 2003

ACCELERATOR STICKS WHILE DRIVING, ESPECIALLY IN HOT WEATHER. THE ONLY WAY TO BRAKE IS TO MANUALLY PULL UP ACCELERATOR WITH YOUR FOOT. DEALER SAYS IT IS THE THROTTLE BODY NEEDING TO BE CLEANED. IT HAS BEEN CLEANED SEVERAL TIMES AND THINGS NEVER CLEAR UP THE PROBLEM. *JB
