VEHICLE WAS PARKED, WHEN PIN FELL OUT OF TILT MECHANISM ON THE STEERING WHEEL. AFTER STARTING VEHICLE, WAS ABLE TO START IT AND DRIVE TO A MECHANIC. HAD DISASSEMBLED STEERING COLUMN, AND REPLACED RETAINER & SPRING KIT. MECHANIC ALSO PUSHED PIN BACK IN TILT. JAMES COLEMAN AT GM 5/17/01. *AK
