Pontiac Grand Am Exterior Lighting Hazard Flashing Warning Lights Switch Safety Report | Dec 12, 2005

Reported on Dec 12, 2005

THE SIGNAL LIGHTS MALFUNCTIONED AND STARTED WORKING ONLY PART OF THE TIME. THIS ALMOST CAUSED ME TO BE REAR ENDED DUE TO THE FAILURE OF THE SIGNALS. I RESEARCHED THE VEHICLE ON THIS SITE AND FOUND THAT THE 2000 GRAND AM WAS RECALLED FOR THIS PROBLEM BUT WHEN I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER I WAS TOLD THAT IT WASN'T INCLUDED IN THE RECALL FOR THE 2000'S. I FEEL THAT THIS VEHICLE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM THAT THE CARS INCLUDED IN THE RECALL HAVE AND THAT IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THIS HAS FAILED EACH TIME THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN DRIVEN FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. *JB
