ON MY WAY TO AN EVENT, I HEARD A POP AND THE STEERING WHEEL BECAME STIFF; THEN STALLED. I HAD IT TOWED TO A MECHANIC, WHO DECLARED THE TIMING BELT BROKE AND REPAIRS ARE GOING TO BE COSTLY. I HAVE LOW MILEAGE ON THE CAR, AND BELIEVE SOME REMEDY SHOULD BE SOUGHT. *JB
