ENGINE HESISTATES VIOLENTLY WHEN ACCELERATING FROM REST. SIMULTANEOUSLY ALL OF THE GAUGES GO TO MAXIMUM VALUE AND RETURN TO REAL VALUES QUICKLY (MUCH LIKE AT ENGINE START-UP). HESISTATION CEASES AND CAR PERFORMS AS NORMAL. THIS PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED ABOUT 6 TIMES OVER 5 YEARS. THE TOTAL LACK OF ENGINE POWER IS UNNERVING AND HAS LEAD TO ONE NEAR MMISS ACCIDENT WHILE TRYING TO COMPLETE A LEFT TURN AHEAD OF UNCOMING TRAFFIC AS ENGINE HESISTAED AND NEARLY STALLED.*AK
