TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 PONTIAC GRAND AM GT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START AND WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THEY REPAIRED THE IGNITION SWITCH. THE FAILURE RECURRED APPROXIMATELY FOUR YEARS LATER. THE CONTACT ALLOWED THE VEHICLE TO SIT IDLE FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES BEFORE SUCCESSFULLY RESTARTING THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE VEHICLE IN FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT INFORMED OF THE FAILURE.
