THE PASSLOCK SYSTEM KEEPS THE CAR FROM STARTING AND YOU HAVE TO WAIT 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE SECURITY LIGHT STOPS BLINKING. I HAVE A 99 PONT. GRAND AM AND THIS SEEMS TO BE AN ONGOING PROBLEM IN THIS CAR AND OTHERS. IT SEEMS GM WOULD LIKE TO SATISFY ITS CUSTOMERS AND REPAIR THIS PROBLEM. WITH THE ECONOMY THE WAY IT IS NOW, THEY NEED ALL THE SATISFIED CUSTOMERS THEY CAN GET,WHEREAS WE MIGHT BE MORE APT TO REPEAT BUSINESS WITH THEM IF THEY WOULD DO THE CORRECT THING AND RECALL THIS VEHICLE FOR THIS PROBLEM.
