Pontiac Grand Am Electrical System Ignition Anti-theft Controller Safety Report | May 04, 2007

Reported on May 04, 2007

THERE WHERE NO EVENTS LEADING UP TO THE FAILURE. I HAD PURCHASED THIS CAR ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO (A 99 GRAND AM SE), AND THE SECURITY LIGHT HAS SLOWLY BEEN GOING OFF MORE FREQUENTLY. JUST LAST NIGHT IT STRANDED ME FOR 30 MINUTES (WHEN THE ALARM GOES OFF, I HAVE TO LEAVE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION FOR ABOUT 15 MINUTES). THIS IS BECOMING A HUGE HASSLE, AND REALLY IS MAKING THE CAR MORE TROUBLE THEN IT'S WORLD. *TR
