Pontiac G6 Visibility Safety Report | Mar 05, 2007
Reported on Mar 05, 2007
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 PONTIAC G6. FROM THE DATE THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED, THE SUN VISOR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE HANGS DOWN SIX INCHES OVER THE STEERING WHEEL. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS; HOWEVER, THE MANUFACTURER DID NOT APPROVE THE REPAIR OF THE VEHICLE. AS A RESULT, THE DEALER DOES NOT WANT TO VOID THE WARRANTY AND PERFORM ANY REPAIRS. THE DEALER REPLACED THE VISOR ONCE, BUT THE SAME FAILURE HAS RECURRED; THEREFORE, THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VISOR WAS DESIGNED IN THAT MANNER. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 18,000 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 966. UPDATED 6/2/08 *CN | |
